A journal in the making
OYADO is an independent English-language journal of Japanese places to stay. Our first collection follows five properties selected from a saved regional draw. Articles use published sources and AI-assisted drafting; they are not reports of personal stays.
Evidence before adjectives
We research official property information and keep uncertain details out of published guides. Each factual statement needs a source, retrieval date, confidence and verification status. A search result is a lead, not confirmation. Names and locations must match official information before a URL is accepted.
People, not invented voices
Owner interviews remain hidden until an interview is conducted, consent is recorded and the text is approved. We never invent quotations or imply we have stayed at a property.
Images & access
Our photography carries verified reuse licenses, linked photographer credits and capture years. Destination scenery is labeled separately from property photographs. Images may be resized and cropped for display; derivatives retain the stated image license. Original typography and CSS remain as a fallback. We respect access restrictions and never bypass authentication or CAPTCHAs.
Human approval
AI-assisted guides begin as drafts. Only verified live guides with a recorded human review may enter production. Practical details can change; travelers should check with the property before booking.
